How your financial documents are protected

Bank statements and invoices contain private information. Original files, extracted data and exports are only available to users or API keys with access to the workspace.

How data checks work

01Access is checked on every request

Documents do not have public download links. Each request checks the signed-in account or API key before returning a file or its data.

  • Sign in with a one-time email link or a passkey.
  • Give API keys only the permissions they need.
  • Private documents are excluded from the public sitemap.

02Your original stays unchanged

Corrections update the data you export. They do not change the PDF or photo you uploaded, so you can always compare a value with the original.

  • Open the relevant page while checking a field.
  • Save corrections before downloading an export.
  • Refresh the document if another change has been saved.

03Delete documents you no longer need

Deleting a document removes access through the app and API. Its associated files are then removed in the background.

  • Deletion requires the appropriate workspace permission.
  • API keys can be revoked separately.
  • Deleted documents cannot be restored through the app.

Copies you have already downloaded stay on your device when you delete a document from Rahunko.
